On today’s In the Motherhood on CKUT 90.3FM at 6 p.m EST, we’re talking about literacy and storytelling in Montréal with two organizers of the long-running Suspicious Fish Creative Literacy and Arts program. Gary Purcell and Sarah Vresk tell us all about the Verdun-based program, how they’ve had to change their services during the Covid pandemic (new writing workshops coming up!), and the valuable role that literacy and storytelling plays in the lives of young people and the community they live in.
