CKUT’s Annual Funding Drive is BACK from April 9-19th, and this year we’re going intergalactic! Our goal: $55,000 to power the future of independent, community radio in Montreal.

Why Donate to CKUT?
We don’t accept corporate funding. That means no ads for oil companies, no commercial influence, no compromise. We are community-powered and people-first, broadcasting radio by and for the communities of Montreal.
For over 35 years, CKUT has:
- Provided a platform for underrepresented voices
- Trained thousands in grassroots radio production
- Offered eclectic music, hard-hitting news, and bold cultural programming
- Remained a hub for experimentation, education, and empowerment

- Rent, bills, and studio space
- Our FM broadcast tower and transmitter

- Salaries for our small, dedicated team

We’re celebrating everything that makes CKUT and Montréal resonate across time and space — from deep-rooted community connections to new voices transmitting on our airwaves. Whether you’re tuning in for underground music, grassroots news, or just here for the frequency, CKUT is your intergalactic signal.

Where Does the Money Go?
We keep it real. Here’s what your donations make possible:

Every dollar you give helps keep CKUT on the air, and during Funding Drive, it also unlocks some extra love from our community.
All donations of $35 and up come with limited-edition Intergalactic Radio merch, designed by Emice Turineck (Spll Girl), and automatically enter you into our Montreal-wide prize draws.
$35 donation: Magnet (+1 entry for tier 1 prize draw)
$50 donation: *LOCAL PICKUP ONLY* Mug (+1 entry for tier 1 prize draw)
$60 donation: 1 t-shirt OR 1 tote bag (+1 entry for tier 1 prize draw)
$90.3 donation: 1 tote bag AND 1 t-shirt (+ 1 entry for both prize draws)
