Favoriting October 18, 2022: Talking about Death in the Black Community with Tanguy Exume

This month we continue speaking about Death and the different ways in which it affects us in the Black Community. Our guest this evening is no stranger to our microphone, he was a guest at the beginning of the year, during our dedication to Black Fathers in June and now he joins us with a unique perspective on death and how it affected him at a very young age.

Tanguy @titangex is a teacher, poet, workout aficionado and a podcaster. It is in listening to one of his recordings from his @teachreach_podcast that we learned about his first recollection of death at the tender age of 6 years old. Haiti was notorious for its flash floods, and his cousin Vanessa and his aunt were tragically caught in one of those floods. He relates to us his experience, then as a youth, some of the rituals he built for himself and the way it affects his perspective on life.

Join us Tuesday October 18, 2022 from 7-8.30pm on www.ckut.ca 90.3FM in Montreal.
