On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we're catching up on some new releases. Let's warm up with songs from new CDs from Nigel Mack, Hudspeth And Taylor, Deuce 'n A Quarter, and Paul Boddy & The Slidewinder Blues Band. We'll move on to two of this week's new releases - Selwyn Birchwood and Guy Bélanger. Then it's a sneak peak at two of next Friday's new releases from The Bluesland Horn Band and Nic Clark. In the "history" part of the show I've got Bessie Smith, Eddie Lang & Lonnie Johnson, The Nite-Owls, Lillie Mae Kirkman, Grace Brim, Lafayette “Thing” Thomas, Bill Doggett, Barrence Whitfield, Monster Mike Welch, and Steve Dawson. We'll close with a song from Paolo Stante in advance of his Thursday show at Brutopia.
