Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we preview the Tremblant International Blues Festival with music from just a few of the many artists appearing including Terrance Simien (as a guest with The Fabulous Thunderbirds), the North Mississippi Allstars, Brandon Isaak, the Justin Saladino Band, The Sugar Darlings, and MonkeyJunk. This week's featured new releases are by Dennis Jones, Sierra Green & the Giants, Gerald McClendon, The B. Christopher Band, Reverend Freakchild, The Name Droppers, JP Soars, Curtis Salgado, and Chris Cain. In the "history" part of the show I've got Gladys Bentley, Victoria Spivey, Billie Holiday, Muddy Waters, Memphis Minnie, Roy Milton, Carl Perkins, Tiny Grimes, Louis Jordan, and Steve Rowe. We'll close with a song from Bharath and His Rhythm Four who'll be bringing old school Chicago style blues to Upstairs on Thursday.
