HOT NEW SINGLES IN YOUR AREA!
The Alexis P. Suter Band  4 Wheels Beats 2 Heels   Favoriting 4 Wheels Beats 2 Heels - single  Nola Blue Records  2024  One day, when Alexis was, once again, crammed in the back seat of an over-stuffed car on the way to a tour date, one of her bandmates asked, “Are you OK back there, Lexi?” Without missing a beat she responded, “Yeah Baby, 4 wheels beats 2 heels any day!” And it wasn’t too long afterwards that the band had their latest hit written and ready for the recording studio! I don't know if The Four Blazes' 1953 hit "Raggedy Ride" was a subconscious inspiration or not but you'll hear it in the history part of the show.

FEATURED NEW RELEASES
Talk Time ID         It was inevitable Sonny would be a musician. His father is bassist Tony Gullage who has performed with Henry Butler, Dr. John, and other prominent blues and roots musicians around New Orleans. Sonny’s grandmother, Sister Alberta Gullage, released gospel records for the Wajo label in the mid-1960s. In addition, Sonny’s family surname was originally Ledbetter, and he is believed to be a relative of seminal blues/folk legend, and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Huddie “Lead Belly” Ledbetter. Album drops Aug 23, 2024
