On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue you'll hear a handful of my favourite new releases from the approximately 50 that I received this year from across Canada. We are truly blessed to have such talent available to us as Colin James, Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne, Blue Moon Marquee, Sue Foley, David Vest & Terry Robb, Shawn Kellerman, Paolo Stante, Son of Dave, Endrick & the Sandwiches, Big Dave McLean, The Stephen Barry Band, Bywater Call, Gary Cain, David Gogo, Marcus Trummer, Ollee Owens, Secondhand Dreamcar, and the Mike Goudreau Band. Sorry I couldn't include more but it's no reflection on the artists - maybe I just couldn't spend enough time with some of them. We'll close out both the show and the year with some New Year themed songs from Big Harp George, Lightnin' Hopkins, Son Lewis Band, Bill Keith, Chuck Edwards, Jerome Godboo, Nancy Wilson, and Lonnie Johnson, ending with the sage advice of Babs Gonzales to "Watch Them Resolutions".
