Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we start with new singles from artists who prove that "team work makes the dream work": Stacy Mitchheart with Bobby Rush, TajMo (Taj Mahal & Keb 'Mo) with Ruby Amanfu, Glenn Alexander with daughter Oria, Frenchie Moe with Tiffany Pollack, Janiva Magness with Sue Foley, and Bob Corritore with Francine Reed & Duke Robillard. Only ZZ Ward braves it all alone This week's featured new releases are from Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, Ireland's Dom Martin, and Belgium's Travellin' Blue (formerly Travellin' Blue Kings). In the "history" set we again go back more than 100 years for a Bessie Smith track recorded in 1923 and continue with James P. Johnson (the father of stride piano), Big Maceo Merriweather, Slim Gaillard, Clarence "Bon Ton" Garlow, Leroy Washington, Memphis Slim, B.B. King, Albert King, Johnny Winter, Jimmy Burns with Jesse Fortune, and Zac Harmon. We'll close with a song from Justin Saladino who will be at L'Aquarium Café Bar on Saturday.
