It's the final night of our FUNDING DRIVE on Cha Cha Cha In Blue so we'll start with a set of songs about money to tug at your heartstrings! This set includes music from Fuel Junkie, Gunn Blues Band, Buddy Guy, Tinsley Ellis, Charlie Barath, Katarina Pejak, Mitch Woods, and the Wild Bill Davis Trio. We only do this for about 10 days per year so NOW IS THE TIME TO DONATE and make sure you check my show as the one through which you're donating. This week's featured new release is Sunday Wilde's new EP - the very old school "One Mic Sessions". Then we stack the new release deck with singles from Marc Broussard, Taj Mahal, Todd Albright, Jennifer Lyn and The Groove Revival, and Belgium's Boogie Beasts. Bonus points if you spotted the two new releases that were recorded very old school using only a single ribbon mic to record live off the floor. The answer is in the enhanced playlist on my show page. The "history" part of the show features music from Willie Nix, Willie Mabon, Ray Charles, Johnny Shines, Lonesome Sundown, Larry Davis, Earl Hooker, George "Harmonica" Smith, and Albert King. We'll close with a song from Julie Blues Project who will be performing at Délires et Délices on Thursday under the aegis of Le Festival de Blues de la Montérégie.
