On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we'll start with new singles from Sam Morrow, Ghost Hounds, Electric Soul Company, Jesper Lindell, GA-20 with Charlie Musselwhite, Shaun Murphy, Parker Barrow, and Hillbilly Vegas with Paul Rogers. This week's new releases come from western Canada - B.C.'s Garret T. Willie, new bluegrass from Son Of Dave, and ex-Montrealer Bobby Dove returns from Manitoba to celebrate their new disc "Fortune Teller" next week at Quai Des Brumes. Then it's back-to-basics with straight acoustic blues from Corey Harris, Alvin Youngblood Hart, and Guy Davis from their new disc "Fight On! True Blues Vol. 2". In the history part of tonight's show we're going back to 1927 for a song by Sippie Wallace followed by music from Blind Willie McTell, Billie Holiday, Blue Lu Barker, H-Bomb Ferguson, Muddy Waters, Billy Boy Arnold, Homesick James, James Brown, Paul Butterfield, Cornell Dupree, and A.C. Reed. We'll close with songs from Otis Ali Blues Group who'll be performing at Upstairs on Thursday and Paolo Stante playing at Brutopia on Saturday.
