Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we illustrate the different kinds of singles that show up on "Single's Night"! Some are album tracks such as those from Mich And The Blues Bastards, the Boogie Beasts, Ghalia Volt, and Gary Dranow. Some are advance singles from upcoming albums by Bywater Call, Pokey LaFarge, and Troy Mercy. And some are stand-alone new singles from Roger "Hurricane" Wilson, Jeff Dale & The South Woodlawners, The McNaMarr Project, and Mustang Red. It seems that western Canada gets a bit homesick in new tunes by Son Of Dave and Mark Crissinger. The history part of tonight's show starts in 1927 with Alberta Hunter, followed by music from Big Joe Turner, Joe Williams, Ray Charles, Little Walter, Big John Greer, Lightnin' Hopkins, Albert King, Langston Hughes, Lucky Peterson, Dave Specter with Ronnie Earl, and Taj Mahal. We'll have two opportunities to catch Dawn Tyler Watson this week - Thursday's V.I.P. evening to benefit the West Island Blues Festival, then it's off to Upstairs on Saturday.

But Gary Dranow’s social awareness song, no more wars, struck a nerve cord in me. There are sane people out there, we’re simply run by an incredibly incompetent and insane imbecile and idiot (USA).
Thank you for a very good show! 👍🏼
