Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue our opening set represents "shapes of things to come" - advance tracks from upcoming new releases by Joe Bonamassa, When Rivers Meet, Danielle Nicole, Swamp Dogg, and Samantha Fish. Note that this set opens and closes with live recordings and that theme continues with our featured new release - the new live album by Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar, followed by album tracks from the latest releases by Gráinne Duffy, Lance and Lea, and the Carmen Ratti Band. The history part of tonight's show starts in 1951 with B.B. King, followed by music from Elmore James, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, Bo Diddley, Little Willie John, Earl Hooker, T-Bone Walker, Teresa James & The Rhythm Tramps, Alan Gerber, Gil Scott-Heron, Bob Dylan, and King Ernest. We'll close with a song from Julie Blues Project who brings her celebration of the women of blues to the swing dance night at Chez Ernest on Thursday.
