On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we start out with bluesy funk from Cyril Neville and son Omari, who both released new albums on the same day, followed by Sweden's Jesper Lindell. Justin Saladino's new single brings us back to the blues plus more new blues from GA-20 with Charlie Musselwhite, Denise La Grassa, and Billy F Gibbons. This week's featured new releases are from Danny Marks, Harrell “Young Rell” Davenport, Robert Jon & The Wreck, and Samantha Fish. The history part of tonight's show starts in 1924 with Sippie Wallace, followed by music from Ethel Waters, Sylvester Weaver, Tony Hollins, John Lee "Sonny Boy" Williamson, Muddy Waters, Lowell Fulson, Koko Taylor, Johnnie Taylor, Grant Green, Tinsley Ellis, Raful Neal, and Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater. We'll close with a song from the Urban Bluesman himself Steve Rowe who'll be struttin' with some BBQ along with blues buddy George Papafilys at Ribfest Longueuil on Friday afternoon.
