On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we spin new singles from upcoming albums by Ruthie Foster, Albert Castiglia, Snowy White, Molly Johnson, Kevin Burt, and Keb’ Mo’. Let's add new live singles from Warren Haynes and Samantha Fish plus a lively new summer bopper from Pat Smillie. This week's featured new releases are a rerelease by Big Time Lew And The Screamin' Rockets and a tribute to Ida Cox by Gina Coleman. The history part of tonight's show starts in 1924 with Jelly Roll Morton, followed by music from Bo Carter, Skip James, Bessie Smith, The Nite Owls, Fats Waller, Junior Wells, Howlin' Wolf, J.B. Hutto, James Harman, Monster Mike Welch, and Bobby Rush & Kenny Wayne Shepherd. We'll close with a song from Dan Livingstone who'll be at west end dive Bar De Courcelle on Wednesday.
