On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue we serve up new singles from upcoming albums by Albert Castiglia, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Fantastic Negrito, and Steve Cropper & The Midnight Hour, plus a new single from Lil' Red & The Rooster. Ottawa's Sherri Harding released a new video from her latest album. This week's featured new releases are by John Primer, Jason Ricci, Blind Dog Mayer Group, McKinley James and another tune from Sherri Harding. The history part of tonight's show starts in 1923 with Bessie Smith, followed by music from Eddie Lang & Lonnie Johnson, Robert Johnson, Lillie Mae Kirkman, Wynonie Harris, Eddie Boyd, Grace Brim, Bill Doggett, Lazy Lester, Bobby Christina's Caravan, Steve Dawson, and Big Bill Morganfield. We'll close with a song from Ginger St. James who'll be at west end dive Bar De Courcelle on Wednesday.
