Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue it's "SINGLES NIGHT" with new songs from Jovin Webb, Eric Steckel, Richard Thompson, Bywater Call, Faye Carol, Mike Dangeroux, and the Texas Headhunters. With Bandcamp Friday coming up this week I point out that Garnetta Cromwell's new single is available on the site and the new disc by GA-20 with Charlie Musselwhite has been named to Bandcamp's “Hot List, Summer 2026. Then we dive into a couple of reissues of live albums from Johnny Winter and Tom Principato. The history part of tonight's show starts in 1930 with Lonnie Johnson, followed by music from Will Batts, Casey Bill Weldon, Walter Roland, Albert King, Herb Ellis & Stuff Smith, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Little Milton, Chambers Deslauriers, Jim Zeller, Ginger St. James, and Lynwood Slim. We'll close the show with a song featuring Sylvie DesGroseilliers who will be appearing at Saturday's Dorval edition of the West Island Blues Festival.
