SHAPES OF THINGS TO COME!
Reed Turchi  Junior's Boogie   Favoriting Road Ends in Water  Gitcha Records  2026  “Junior’s Boogie” is the second single from the 15-year anniversary re-release for Reed Turchi’s Road Ends in Water - his early showcase of basement recordings with special guest Luther Dickinson of North Mississippi Allstars. Lyrically, this song is the re-telling of a dark tale from Reed Turchi’s Mississippi days — a man who had lost his wife to heart attack, and sunk into a unconsolable state for decades, until he eventually perished in a cooking fire. "Also, while it may sound huge, it’s worth noting that Eric and I are both playing tiny guitar amps — I’m playing a modded out Fender Champ reissue with a 5″ speaker, and Eric is playing an old Silvertone amp with a 6″ speaker — no pedals, just raw sound. It’s funny how small amps make a guitar sound huge.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dq7nBOHMOTg

Produced by GRAMMY® winner Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. “Whole Lot Coming For You’ was one of my favorites to cut,” says Eddie 9V. “... it was nice to just rip Freddie King style blues to just get the juices out." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=975ZydH2FAc

I must say, it’s a very good show but the only song that stood out and caught my attention was Down Here by Eddie 9V.
