On Cha Cha Cha In Blue, the longest-running blues show in Montreal, host John Detcheverry devotes equal time to the classics, new releases and Canadian artists. On the air since 1990.

Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Paul Deslauriers, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Pop Staples, Downchild, Steve Rowe, MonkeyJunk, and Charlie Musselwhite, as well as live performances and interviews.

Tonight on Cha Cha Cha In Blue let's start with new singles and select album tracks from Dwayne LaForme, Nicki Bluhm, Christopher Wyze & The Tellers, B.B. King, Lost Leaders, Shirley Jackson, and JJ Cale & Eric Clapton. My maple syrup coated new release deck is loaded up with new Canadian albums from Jesse Creatchman and Angelica Jones. The history part of the show starts with a 1924 song from Bessie Smith, and continues with Blind Lemon Jefferson, Joe Hill Louis, Pete "Guitar" Lewis, Howlin' Wolf, Ray Charles, Nappy Brown, Little Willie John, Fats Domino, Herb Ellis & Stuff Smith, Fenton Robinson, Roy Buchanan, Leonard Cohen, Kirk Fletcher, and Gary Primich. We'll close the show with Dan Livingstone who'll be appearing at Brutopia on Wednesday.

I’ll listen to it on Sunday night, live while I was cycling. Give me an energy boost because of the powerful songs. I listen to it again tonight while having dinner, it was much smoother and silkier.
