KARNEEF DROPS NEW ALBUM (NOW AT SALA)
SHOW MOVED TO SALA –
Been a minute since we heard from the eccentric maestro Karneef. Ten years maybe since his last one. That’s a decade bruv – lot a buildings gone forever in that time(1). Bit mysterious but always around – Karneef has been making records in the city for twenty years and this newest one is most exemplary. It’s How You Say It has kind of a Canadian fusion vibe that actually reminds me of Helmut Lipsky’s Melosphere(2) but obviously with a more 2025 style tension and thematic. Incredibly gifted musicians in this band so you can’t go wrong to go seem live in a proper setting like Sotterena and Rapallo opens.
