CBDiabla is a mexican, “Seattle” based DJ and producer. Inspired by the immersive world building and sense of agency lived through videogames, her work opens portals to different universes for listeners to explore. Whether delving into vast natural worlds, cyberpunk dystopias or murky catacombs, her sets traverse light and darkness to provide an emotional journey.
With an ear for intricate sound design, lush and abrasive textures, and layered percussion, her sets span a wide set of genres such as Electro, Techno, IDM, Industrial, Kuduro, Dancehall, Dub, Breaks, Ambient and more. Her selections seek to showcase the diversity of sonic imaginaries being crafted across the world.
She has shared the stage with artists such as DJ Fucci and Azu Tiwaline, and has been aired in radio stations such as HKCR and Radio Nopal. She is also host of the videogame music radio show “Secret Level”, broadcast every month on the Particle.fm radio station.
