In town from NYC, Andy Boay former Music Librarian aka Andy White jams while the Radio Is Dead crew works the mixer.

Described by the hallway crew as “music in a submarine”, episode 2 features Eve, Emily, and Evelyn at the controls for an improvised jam using 2 mixers, a drum machine, a tube overdrive pedal, a little YouTube, and the mixers’ onboard effects.

Tune in as a big batch of volunteers improvise and experiment with a contact mic, effects pedals, guitar amp, YouTube, vocal mic, mixer and effects. The first in a series of upcoming experiments. Email production@ckut.ca to get involved in future ones.

CKUT music and history head Kresno jumps in for a last minute episode of Radio Is Dead and brings late night sounds to the Monday mid day waves.

Sonic experiments of students created within the context of the project « L’eau, omniprésente, précieuse et inspirante » which was coordinated by cultural mediator Tanha Gomes. Created by students in the 6th year from the class of teachers Lina Coronel and Sonia Desgagné at École Saint-Gérard, Pierrefonds-Roxboro, in the west of Montreal.
