FROM THE FLOOR WITH ALISSA: IDLES @ MTELUS

Idles at MTelus. As soon as they started playing, the line between the band and the crowd completely dissolved. It felt like the whole show was happening in the pit—quite literally on the shoulders of the crowd. For the first time, I saw a tech solely dedicated to managing the constant waves of crowd surfers (my friend Harry being one of them). Charcoal felt like the perfect material to capture the pulsing energy of the room. Here are some glimpses from the night.
