Sounds & Pressure NFB Collab – Photo Roundup

On February 7, 2025 CKUT, the NFB, and the Afrosonic Innovation Lab collaborated on an event to launch a new documentary about Reggae in Canada.

The event featured a screening of the film series Sounds & Pressure, followed by a live panel discussion with the directors, Chris Flanagan and Graeme Mathieson, alongside Montreal’s own.

Also featured: The exclusive launch of a special exhibit curated by The Afrosonic Innovation Lab, ‘The String Up’: Celebrating Reggae Histories and Sound System Culture in Montreal.
