The professional whistler and Multi-Instrumentalist from Illinois, Andrew Bird, will bring glad tidings to the jazz and folk music lovers in our ebullient city of Montreal on his North American Summer Tour. The show will also have a special performance by Amadou & Mariam, a Grammy-nominated musical duo from Mali. Bird’s style of music is ever-evolving and is incontestably striking across his 16 studio albums, including his latest record, “Sunday Morning Put-On”. There are clear influences from jazz and blues, including a dedicated rendition of Jule Styne’s  “I Fall in Love too easily.” The album evokes the feeling of a comforting and romantic lament. It is safe to say that the only tic motion of the head would be out of delight and enjoyment from the charming vocals and enchanting instrumental.
