Early Wednesday morning, while it was still dark, SPVM and private security descended on McGill campus. Over the next several hours, McGill’s Popular University Encampment was dismantled, its residents forced out. CKUT has interviews with campers and folks who came out in solidarity on Wednesday.

As we conclude our celebration of Black Mothers in May one of our guests’ for tonight is Amanda Benn. A dancer, choreographer, leader, long-standing community and youth worker. These are the titles that Amanda is deeply rooted in. Above all these roles, Amanda has become a mother which has shifted her perspective in everything in life, enabling her to explore deeper purpose in the arts.
