The New Penelope was a legendary, much-beloved concert venue in Montreal open from the mid to late 1960s. Club owner Gary Eisenkraft presented many incredible blues, rock, folk and jazz acts at the Penelope, including such legends as Muddy Waters, Frank Zappa, Joni Mitchell, and Jesse Winchester.
