Amandla! is committed to busting racist stereotypes of Africa with coverage that brings African voices, struggles and visions to the fore, and roots stories in historical context. “Amandla ngawethu!” means “Power to the people!” It was the revolutionary cry of the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa, and is the guiding vision of the podcast.
