The Show de Lutte: Combat des Radios
Organized by CHOQ.ca as part of La Grande Rentrée du Quartier Latin in collaboration with Les Rois de l 'Arène, the Show de Lutte was a back-to-school event like no other featuring a battle royale where campus radio stations faced off-- and then teamed up against a common foe.

Organized by CHOQ.ca as part of La Grande Rentrée du Quartier Latin in collaboration with Les Rois de l’Arène, the Show de Lutte was a back-to-school event like no other.
The show kicked off with a battle royale in which wrestlers representing each of Montreal’s four campus radio stations, CHOQ.ca, CISM, CJLO, and CKUT, battled for a championship belt. CHOQ.ca came out on top…
… but then all four stations teamed up when a common foe entered the ring: Meta-Man, representing the social media and tech giant Meta.
With a little bit of help from a friend, campus radio prevailed!

CKUT was thrilled to participate in this display of friendly competition and camaraderie and we’re training hard to try to take the belt next year!
Highlights also included: wrestler Trans Girl Maria Belmont using a song by CKUT’s very own Spoken Word Coordinator’s band, Jetsam, as her entrance song.
