Tiempo Latino Celebrates 34 Years on the Air

Tiempo Latino has been promoting Latin American culture in Spanish & English since 1989, with your hosts Rommel Cajavilca, Daniel Lara, Sergio Martinez, Paloma Soto, et al.

TIEMPO LATINO / LATIN TIME es una producción del Taller Latinoamericano de Comunicaciones, sirviendo, informando y entreteniendo a la comunidad latinoamericana y a sus amigos de otras comunidades, desde 1989.

This past Sunday Tiempo Latino celebrated their 34th birthday live on the air from the CKUT studios.

Tiempo Latino / Latin Time has been on the air since 1989; it is a production of the Latin American Communications Workshop, a non-profit community organization which also has a publishing and social networks division.

They marked their 34th anniversary with breakfast at the station, to which they invited a few
friends and former collaborators.

In recent years they have been marking their anniversaries with big artistic shows every five years. On those occasions, they have have had the privilege of presenting some of the best artists of the Latino community in Montreal, such as Mamselle Ruiz, Herencia Latina, Color Violeta, Pedro Diaz, Ana Silvia Garcia, and folk-dance groups Arco Iris
(Chile), Baila Conmigo Canada (Peru), and Argenkuna (Argentina). They are already planning to hold a big party for next year when the show will turn 35.
